Buzzi Bodies T-shirt
Please note that the coaches are also awaiting stock.
Every one is required to wear a Buzzi Bodies T-shirt on a Friday as well as on Sports Day date to be confirmed. PLEASE NOTE that Sports Day is for all the Buzzi Bodies children from Teddy Bears Montessori & their parents.

Intra Murals ( invoiced by the school)
- Upbeat Music programme with Teacher Antje ( pronounced similar to unsure) on Monday mornings at 10h00 sharp. Cost is R250 pm x 12 months.
- Buzzi Bodies gross motor, sport skills development programme by qualified coaches ( Bret, JP & Candice). R150 pm x 12 months plus admin fee.
These come highly recommended by the school and are far more cost effective as 80% of the school is doing it.

PLEASE NO LACE UP SHOES ALLOWED
( unless child is a Pre-schooler)
It is important not to set a child up for failure, putting on lace up shoes creates these feelings unless they are able to tie & untie their laces.
& NO BEACH TONGS ALLOWED .
We have found that children trip & fall too often with these type of shoes.

Health & safety as these are common challenges at many schools & we need parents & staff to all work together for the greater good and well being of all our children while at school:
illness & fever
Please note that if your child is ill, it is your responsibility to pick up your child ASAP and take to the doctor, no children with fevers will be allowed to stay at school without a clearance letter from their Doctor. This is in keeping with Health & safety regulations at schools and with the South African Montessori Association & school policy.
Injuries/ Biting/ Wrestling:
If a child is biting another child ( age appropriate or not) or hurting another child repeatedly or more than one child in a day, school policy & procedures are followed and parents of the child biting/ hurting other child/ren must please come to school to discuss a mutual safe way forward for everyone and in severe cases the child must be picked up so that you can talk/discipline your child depending on the situation, if a child needs medical attention even though we may have medical aid information we are unable to move your child nor are we allowed to give consent on a parents behalf to paramedics/ doctors. Absolutely scary to know that we have no power during emergency situations except for our First Aid Level 1 training.
That is your duty/ responsibility as a parent. Children are children boundaries are tested both at home & school. in most cases we need to either reinforce the rules at home & at school, spend some quality time with our children as they sometimes act out because they are seeking attention negative or positive. Any attention works. They are little masters of manipulation 🙂
Please refrain from using me or any staff members name as a method to discipline your child as it creates unnecessary negative feelings towards us and learning.
Lets work together for the best interest of your child so that the magic in their development can unfold with as little stress as possible. Parent – Teacher – Child
